FAQS

Too many things have failed here.

  • The Center Senior Living Board is stacked with practical expertise and have further extended our knowledge base about building and running such a facility by enlisting expert partners.  We’ve continued to gain ground in pursuing funding and completing the planning that makes our project shovel ready.  Milestones accomplished as of March 2025 include: a market study, architectural and engineering study, schematic design, building façade rendering, feasibility study, state and federal funding applications.

There is concern that this campaign is too large to accomplish.

  • Since inception, CSL has flexed as needed to be realistic and practical in creating an efficient project with attainable funding goals.  The initial planned size of the facility has been scaled back to reduce the costly new construction portion and the project has been simplified to include assisted living only in the initial build out  Our fundraising partners Westby & Associates have added their expertise and breadth of experience at every step of the way to make sure we are on a realistic track to getting the funding we need.

Recruitment and retention.

  • In recognition of the need to attract employees to our area, CSL has increased the base wages in our planning and budgeting matrix so that we can best compete to attract the employees the facility will need.  We are planning to partner and bolster training programs in our area to funnel new CNAs and HCAs into jobs in our facility.  We will be pursuing close partnerships with local builders and motels who can help address the housing needs of our workforce.

Things don’t get cared for in this town.

  • CSL has carefully monitored the budget proposal to ensure that there is ample budget for building maintenance.  A strong business plan which designates financial reserves to keep the building maintained and to meet regulatory and licensing requirements is in place.

Locals should have priority.

  • Locals will absolutely be prioritized when filling rooms as we continually work to earn community support, involvement and engagement through serving the needs of those from the immediate area.  Community connectedness is one of the key assets of our area and we are committed to embracing it with the knowledge that it affects our facility’s staffing, resident satisfaction and volunteerism.
